great news this week. ive been accepted to the 2010 berlinale talent campus. that means in februrary i will be attending 6 days of workshops, lectures and other such things with filmmakers, scriptwriters, editors, etc etc from all over the world.
as if that wasnt enough ill be attending the berlinale film festival too!

festival update
on the quiet has been selected for brittspotting - the brittish and irish film festival in berlin.
on the quiet & my day will also be screening at this years darklight festival in the "buddha bag movie lounge" and "new animated shorts part two" screenings.

New News!
i'm delighted to say that one of my favourite sites Motionographer
has featured My Day in their student feed. i'm really happy as i use this site a lot!

also last weekend i attended the WCC Young Filmmakers Bursary Award ceremony.
i was delighted to accept the award and it was great to see the other winning films.
they also announced on the night that i won the Artlinks! Film Bursary 2009.
i was so happy my films were recieved so well. amazing!
lastly, my graduate film On the Quiet, has been selected for the 2009 Bradford Animation Festival. it will be screening in the student competition in november.

RTS & SMEDIAAS WIN!
Last Tuesday I attended the RTS student awards ceremony in RTE.
It was a fun night and great to see all the other winning films.
Two days later myself and gang from college went to the lovely Mansion House in Dublin
for the 2009 3 Student Media Awards in which I was a finalist for "Short Animation of the Year". It was very fancy indeed and to make the night even better... I WON!!
It's very strange to be winning awards almost a year after My Day was completed but im thrilled nonetheless!
